I am the local Field Construction Manager for TELUS Construction in Fort McMurray. I had the pleasure of employing Division 26, Inc. and their Electrical and Telecom teams during Fort McMurray’s worst flood in History.

TELUS experienced a monumental task to rebuild our Telecom Infrastructure along with the reconstruction and upgrade of all Business Demarcation points. Division 26, Inc. displaying their skills as a true partner to TELUS by assisting our Internal teams as well as maintaining their own work schedules. They went above and beyond, treating each TELUS customer as true professionals of this industry.

The most memorable work during the Flood Remediation, was the work they performed at the Keyano College. This included the Removal and replacement of a TELUS Cross Connect and DSLAM. They also maintained our Mobility Service, Via Temporary Power and Fiber. They then proceeded to Replace/Upgrade all Demarcation Service Entries to Main Campus, Bob Lamb Centre, Syncrude Sport & Wellness Centre and the Purple Palace. I feel confident they have the required expertise, resources and capabilities to execute all Cabling, Terminations and Testing of Copper and Fiber Telecom Services.

I wanted to reach out and thank your team for all the professionalism and hard work completed following the devastation of our Corporate and fleet maintenance facilities following the 2020 flood.

As our electrical maintenance contractor of choice for our facilities, your team stepped up and was a major piece of the puzzle in our success of Acden doors reopening in September, just three months after the flood.

After the Fort McMurray flood in 2020, ServiceMaster Restore was the prime contractor for the Keyano College Syncrude Sport and Wellness centre restoration. We chose our electrical contractor to be Division 26 and we didn’t look back; Division 26 went above and beyond during the project. They have an experienced crew that were able to adapt and think on the fly. Division 26 helped us meet all of our objectives by our projected deadline.
